Huaraz
Huaraz is located in the Peruvian Andes, at an altitude of 3100m. Max spent his first day here in bed with slight fever. Probably a bad bolognese from the day before, made his stomach turn in the bus. In the afternoon Nikè came down with headache, maybe caused by altitude sickness. The next day we didn't do much except explore the town a little bit and update our blog in a little café as you may have noticed... On the 6th of Novembre we took a tour to go see a beautiful lagoon, called Llanganuco. Before getting to this lagoon our tour stopped at a couple other locations: Our first stop: Carhuaz, very famous for it's icecream. However it was 11am and we didn't feel like ice cream... Second stop: Yungay. A barial ground with a huge Christ statue, that reminded us of the one in Brazil. Third stop Llanganuco, where we ate the very Peruvian dish: 'Choclo con queso' and 'Inca Kola': Next stop: a very touristical restaurant, where we could eat 'Cuy' (=Guinea Pig)... But we didn't. In the evening we took a quite comfortable bus to Lima...
